Offshore Kayak Fishing

Kayak fishing Florida offshore is a experience you won’t soon forget! Launching from the beach, the fishing grounds are less than a mile out. There is the opportunity to catch Wahoo, Kingfish, Mahi, Tuna, Sailfish, Snapper, Grouper, Permit and Cobia all from a kayak!

Your offshore kayak fishing trip will start by meeting at the designated launch site around sunrise. Your guide will have all equipment set up and ready to go when you arrive. Once we reach the kayak fishing grounds we can expect to drift along with the current. This current will slowly push us along on our drift to our landing location generally 6-12 miles north of our starting point. Anglers will be driven back to their vehicles after a short photo session of the days catch.

The top two methods we use offshore kayak fishing are live bait trolling and vertical jigging. Trolling live bait will give anglers the best shot at the pelagic species like Kingfish, Wahoo, Mahi and Sailfish. Vertical jigging is a method done by dropping a 3-7oz streamline jig down 100-300ft and ripping it back up to the surface. This technique triggers a reaction bite by the fish and the Tuna, Kingfish and Snapper love it.
